Gateway Community Church

Thayer Stamper serves as lead pastor at Gateway Community Church. He, his wife, Amy, and their four daughters, Julia, Bailey, Madison, and Avery, have been in Goldsboro since 2005 and at GCC since it’s founding in 2006.

When he’s not busy at Gateway, Thayer enjoys good books, college football, and just hanging out with family and friends. His purpose, in life and ministry, is to point modern people to real life in Jesus Christ.

Tim moved to Goldsboro during the spring of 2006, moved away for 3 years and missed everyone so much decided to move back in 2009 to be the Minister to Students at Gateway Community Church!

When he’s not stoking the furnace at G8way, Tim enjoys playing guitar, watching movies, playing with his iPhone, and spending time at the gym.

Tim’s reason for being is to see students meet Jesus in a very real way and HIS glory magnified through everything!
