Craft nights are specifically designed to provide a great time to begin and strengthen great, godly, and genuine friendships around a craft that's both easy to do and worthy of placing in your home, office, or wherever you'd like!

We’re launching a new year of student ministry for those in grades 6-12. Join us for Worship, Word, and Small Groups each Wednesday. Pre-service “hangout time” begins at 6 PM, followed by our service at 6:30. Pickup time is 7:45!

Hey, middle and high schoolers! Join us for a brand new year of Gateway Students and our "Back to School Bash,” a pool, lawn game, and pizza party at the home of Hector and Bev Pedraza! This will also be the first time we welcome our new 6th graders to Gateway Students. This off-campus event requires parents to complete our 2024-’25 Parental Consent Form. You can download this form for the year if you have not yet completed it by clicking here. Remember to attach a “front/back” photocopy of your child’s insurance card.

Please remember that this is a church-sponsored event. We ask that ladies wear one-piece swimsuits. (Dark-colored t-shirts/tanks can be worn over two-piece suits if you do not have a one-piece.) In that light, we ask that the gentlemen wear appropriate swim trunks. 

Also, please bring your own towels and appropriate footwear for lawn games and towels.

Join us for a wonderful night of baseball at Historic Fleming Stadium in Wilson. We will be watching the Wilson Tobs take on the Wilmington Sharks, and we'll have special seating in the stadium with all-you-can-eat/drink concessions for just $10. It's a fantastic deal!

The theme for the evening at the ballpark is "Christmas in July," so remember to dress up in your Christmas attire and join in the fun.

We're excited about our new mission partner, Harvesters International—so excited, in fact, that we're putting together a group to visit the work ourselves in January 2025!

On Thursday evening, July 11, Gateway will host an interest meeting for any of our Gateway folks who might want more information about joining us on the trip. Doug Radford, Executive Director of Harvesters, will share general information about their work around the world and specific information about the work in Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Uganda (where we will take our trip). He'll also answer any questions you may have about the trip!

The trip is open to those in high school and above, but any participants in high school and/or under age 18 at the beginning of the trip must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The trip dates are still being nailed down, but we can tell you that it will be close to the end of January and the beginning of February. Trip costs generally run between $3.5-$4K (excluding passport and immunization costs). Group and individual fundraising is a definite option!

Our 4th annual BBQ chicken plate sale is coming up on June 1st. The ¼ chicken plates will be available for take-out, along with a side of potato salad, green beans, bread, and a mouth-watering dessert!  You can purchase paper tickets at Gateway starting Sunday, May 5! Online ticket sales are already open!

All proceeds help fund middle and high school ministry opportunities (especially summer camp).

On Wednesday, May 22 (6 PM), our Gateway Students (grades 6-12) will celebrate the end of another school year with our annual night of grilling out, ice cream, and water games: THE REALLY CHILLY WILLY GRILLY! It's always a great night, and come prepared to GET WET because you WILL get wet! Since we will be running outside, please wear either closed-back sandals or shoes (for safety's sake, NO FLIP FLOPS)! Also, wearing your bathing suits under your shorts, tanks, or tees is quite ok!

As part of our worship service that day, Adam Flumerfelt, our student pastor, will deliver the morning’s message (at both services) that will challenge us all to pursue the Lord and become all that He intends us to be. Dedicating your children to the Lord is a vital step in realizing our identities and roles as parents, and at Gateway, we desire nothing more than for you to be the true parents God has called you to be.

Our Spring dedication service will be on Sunday, May 12 (Mother’s Day), at our 9:30 AM worship service. The registration deadline is Thursday, May 9.

At Gateway, Mother’s Day is all about ALL our ladies, and it's our pleasure to pamper you on your special day... that's why we're honoring you with some special "Ladies Only" treats and gifts this Mother's Day. It's just a small way to honor and thank you for all you are and all you do!

Join us at 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, for a great night of food and churchwide fellowship. We’ll dine potluck style, so we ask every family to bring a meat along with at least one side or dessert. The church will provide bread, drinks, and paper products!
